Have a look at my tree and the angel I made for the top.

Remember, the shepherds were afraid.

The angel is divine.

Was that leather Elvis I saw go by at 1:45?

You may also like the Emile Pandolfi White Christmas (now quite old) ... my favorite track is "Let it Snow".

I may be able to send you the tracks, if you are interested (I think I have them in iTunes...).

Thank you, I am definitely in the "Elvis is Part of Christmas" camp. I have a Radko 68 Comeback special ornament, and Blue Hawaii and Jumpsuit Elvis ornaments as well. If you have the time to send those tunes, I'd really enjoy hearing them : pud@blackboots.org

Ha Ha!, that's great! I saw the cover of Diamond Dogs come up on my iTunes slideshow, and there is a resemblance. Bowie was a real icon for me, maybe his no eyebrow look sunk down in my subconscious.

Such a beautiful tree, and a perfect room to show it off in. It makes me want to curl up by the fire, radiator, heater, electric blanket, or whatever you've got, sip cocoa and/or light up a pipe, and snuggle. With you, of course.

You've got it just right, I just bought some fine Cavendish which leaves a nice faint smell with the tree when I come downstairs in the morning. I bought a couple of radiant heaters, which work well if you sit in one place, it's probably the most economical way to heat in an old house.

That was quite a spectacular display right down the Vince Guaraldi music! Lucy Van Pelt would have been proud. Your tree beats the boots off my usual Christmas Ficus. However, one of my guests demanded a real tree so I have a real (artificial) one up and blinking. I am praying that George our Bulldog doesnt take a fancy (or dis-like) to it and shake it. Perhaps someday we will have a shiny al-u-minny-um Christmas tree, but alas not this year.

Merry Christmas and congrats on the new Mayor! You can do the Superiority Dance the next time I see you...LOL

Really nice tree and vid - thanks. I haven't really decorated the house for Christmas in quite a few years, but I used to enjoy it a lot.

I kind of miss snow as well, but a tropical Christmas is about the best thing there is.

You know if it snows in Houston, it wouldn't surprise me if one of these weird climate change years it snows in Brazil as well! (but in July). Will you be in Rio for New Years?

Definitely - in Copa, though the exact place has not been decided yet.
Either a house party with a trip down to the beach at midnight, or a swanky private affair by the better half's work, mainly for their clients. The downside of that being he has to spend some time schmoozing.
